For as long as I can remember, I have always been overweight. I was chubby as a kid, but not obese. As an adult, I have always been obese. I have had a number of people tell me that I carry my weight well and that I am very proportionate. While these are kind comments, I do not want to hear that from another person for as long as I live! I went to a talk given by dr. darshan shah who spoke about weight loss and the effect it could have on your life.
Just by losing as little as ten percent of your body weight can significantly reduce your risk of heart disease and related ailments. I already have high blood pressure, so I was all ears, listening to the positive aspects of weight loss. There are a number of ways to lose weight. Some people have tried all different kinds of weight loss products and plans to no avail, so they turn to surgical measures to lose the weight.
